As local businesses look to recover from the pandemic, the new Conservative run Council is backing local businesses. 

Throughout the pandemic, local businesses have been helped via the Furlough Scheme, Rates Relief and more by the Government. We'll continue to do all we can to help local businesses recover locally.

Securing £25 million in investment for Nelson Town Centre will help create and protect jobs and expand opportunities for Nelson and Colne College. On top of this investment, we're continuing to protect free parking in our Town Centres, making it easier for people to support their local high streets.
