As a result of the Parliamentary boundary changes, many of the council wards in or about Clitheroe are now within the Pendle and Clitheroe Constituency. Last year, the Pendle and Clitheroe Conservative Association and the Ribble Valley Conservative Association merged to form a Federation covering both Parliamentary constituencies. Pendle and Clitheroe and Ribble Valley are now Branches of that Federation. Both have their own websites and social media presence, but co-operate fully in campaigning particularly in relation to wards on the other side of the hill. Pendle and Clitheroe are looking to the future and (in particular) to the Lancashire County Council elections which are to take place in May 2025. This website is intended to provide important information to members and the general public, but is not intended to take the place of the Facebook page of the Branch which will provide information on a more regular basis.
