Today, Barrowford Library re-opened. Originally closed in 2016, the re-opening is more than just a vital service returning to the village, but is a visual symbol of a Council that has listened to its residents and their children.
"I was proud to re-open the library in the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Council, Ann Cheetham, Cabinet Member, County Councillor Peter Buckley, Barrowford Councillors Ken Turner & Linda Crossley and more importantly, the children from the local Primary Schools. I've been pushing for the library to be re-opened since it was closed in 2016 and I'm glad to have this important local asset back open." Christian Wakeford said.
